The Heart’s Prayer

The Heart’s Prayer short poem

Every day and every night I long for
a true love that will never die
no more tears from tired eyes
no more so lonely I just sit and sigh
just a true, true love that’ll never die
Well that is The Heart’s Prayer
because the heart still feels the
dream that lingers, the dream of
someone who is of the faithful
kind and someone who’s love is
forever!
I’m tired of the players and their
games or those on the rebound
just looking for an old flame
well I’ve been down that road
so many times before I don’t want
to go there anymore
I only live for someone who
wants what I want and live for
Well and that is The Heart’s Prayer
because the heart still feels the
dream that lingers, the dream of
someone who is of the faithful
kind and someone who’s love is
forever!
Maybe someday I will find a love
that will last until eternity’s end
a love that is like magic in the wind
a love that grows stronger every day
from deep, deep within, a lover and
a friend
Well that’s The Heart’s Prayer
because the heart still feels the
dream that lingers, the dream of
someone who is of the faithful
kind, someone who’s love is
forever!

Broken Hearts

Broken Hearts short poem

The day you started the drama, it was amazing and wonderful. If I would know than, I would never be on your side. The words I shared and the things I cared, by the time it blows with the wind.
