Silent Pain

Silent Pain short poem

In a world filled with hatred let’s spread love
From the ground below to the heavens above
Behind every wave of destruction is a broken dream
There’s a silent tear and a deafening scream
It’s easy to unleash violence sitting miles away
Turning a blind eye is as good as doomsday
Heartless decisions are taken by those flaunting formals
Depriving little kids of a life that could be normal
Together we can put an end to senseless violence
Taking a baby step is better than mere silence
Let’s hold hands together during this difficult time
Let’s end hostility ‘coz your happiness is mine
While needless drones and bombs explode
Let’s contribute for a better tomorrow and lighten the load
