Awaken

Coexisting with division is not existing at all
Multi colored multitudes must stand tall
Your little one’s future depends on you
Your eyes can no longer refute what is true

Justice for all or justice for none
Actions are a must let your voice be the gun
Do not fear as we enter this fight
It’s not just about the black and the white

Wake up calls are ringing, do not ignore
We all have the key to unlock all these doors
These doors trying to hold us back and hide
The truth and the lies and ugliness inside

Come now do not be afraid
Let us all join in and aid
We are the answer and we will be heard
Time to break free, no longer caged birds

Wow Ms Wilson. I agree with your feelings. And second your wishes. But the types of ISIS are certain to disturb the world peace.. Still let’s hope the best……………..

“words like guns” themes like that keep coming up. speak from and into “cannons” sure, I’ve tried that a lot, that’s a spill and it feels good, it feels are artistic and powerful.
I’ve tried to combine some cannons.

Anyway, my take is that you really don’t like “words like guns” It is violent imagery. the cannon of your “words like guns” is one to explore

thanks for writing.
