Barter Of Emotions

Two people met, accidentally.
With no rhyme or reason,
Not knowing where to begin,
Unsure what to hold as conversation.
Just when the silence was getting unbearable,
There was a klink on the glass window.
Slow drizzle of words poured in,
Talk moved from showers to clouds;
From clouds to sky & skies to oceans.
Moments turned to days,
Days to months,
They exchanged their weathers, in words.
Some days it would rain on the letter pad,
It would be a bright moonlit pages, on some nights.
Many afternoons were spent sharing dry arguments.
And many a evenings, went walking by city crowds.
One would write a bit,
While the other would complete the sentence.
One may have started half a dream,
Which the other would live till morning.
Two people who never met, ever again.
Found a rhyme for their verse,
And a reason for their words.
Windows open & closed, to welcome weathers in.
They found a way to barter emotions.

My Pain My Emotions short poem

It’s not our divorce that sets my heart on fire. It’s not your betrayal that slashes it apart. It’s not your sarcastic tongue that condemns my humanity. Brutal memories of our past haunt me the most. Love comes with joy

The ocean of emotions, Are like the waves, Kissing the shore, With the tides returning, To bring back the feelings, Long lost and forgotten. Rolling like the waves, And dancing in sheer bliss, As they overlap the other, Rippling in
