Corazon

Corazon short poem

the coming day
pushes the blue sky west

o’er the far valley
beyond the mountains crest

I left her down in Corazon
without forgiveness…in the night

she was searching for the grace of God
she was looking…for the light

but I saw the devil dancing
wringing up… his hands

conjuring his demons
and rolling out… his plans

the coming night
pulls the blue sky west

o’er the far valley
beyond the mountains crest

I left her down in Corazon
her heart was led astray

she never found forgiveness
and the devil had his way

the coming silence
brings the blue sky to rest

o’er the far valley
beyond the mountains crest

Poet’s Note: Corazon is a S.American volcano and means heart in Spanish.
