Uneasy Calm

Uneasy Calm short poem

Perceptibly all’s normal
sans any grave concern

Yet something’s amiss
at total loss to discern

Prospects and delivery
in unanimity converged

Still truest of the bliss
never clearly emerged

Amity, bonds & loyalty
all but there so to say

But feel of deprivation
seems unlikely to allay

Life’s turned near similar
as intended at the outset

Took dished up in stride
with hardly any regret

Content with existence
in own personal space

The quest for enigmatic
can’t just simply efface

Pursuit stays constant
hoping one day to find

What has been eluding
or were illusion of mind

A pang , sort of pining, for something unknown. Sweet, passionate poetry.
