The Higher Order Things

The Higher Order Things short poem

It takes relentless effort to form new neuron connections for higher order thinking
And without pain there is no gain no matter how badly you try tricking
Only the most difficult of experiences teach the highest order lessons in living
The easy ones are very easy to solve and require very little learning
Yet so many expect to find the perfect book for dummies that easily teaches everything
And usually the smartest ideas have a way to continuously challenge our intelligence non ending
That to know beyond basics one must constantly search way beyond just the beginning
Because this universe is so huge that we may never discovering all its mystery be finishing
And just one brain or life is not enough to learn all its secrets that seem unending
That is why there are so many professions in the making
So it is always good to try to solve as many of its hardest problems for our knowing
Because the best path in life is always learned walking
And not just by taking the same old path and always following.

Little Things Matter long poem

The world is a race If you want to succeed, pick up your pace Keep running, focus, put in extra hours, fly solo But doesn’t this make you feel empty and hollow? Be yourself, be silly, be alive, spread joy
