Chained short poem

Uploaded by Abbey Desirae

I am trapped in my own little space
I am looking for a door to freedom
Trapped in the darkness of the past
Waiting for someone to unchain me
Here in the darkness
There’s a thought of what could be
A new bright light hitting my face
But I can’t breathe
There’s no room in this small cage
Chained to their fears
Scared to see a scar
Petrified to see me succeed in something
they don’t want
I try to run
Run away from their fears
But they’re trapped in here with me
I beg “let me move”
But I’m a wild animal in their mind
Trapped and chained to their fears
to see me left behind
When all I want
Is to be able to breathe
in my own freedom
But instead
I’m chained in a cage
full of their fears

A horror poem of the subliminal dream. It is a poem of Freudian implications , Wonderfully crafted.
