Invocation short poem

Wait, Wait.. Cynthia
Lit up your lantern,
Yet little more ..!
Let me compose a line
Just one and once
Left conclude my rhyme
– In the sacred hours of this night!

Awake, Awake.. Darling,
Amidst the time darkling,
Stay awake, a minute – or two
Be benevolent, I thank
You, pour some ink
Of thy eyes – blue and bright;
Enact me write
A couplet, I contemplate
– In the Secret recess of my heart!

Perching on the tree
Of peace and precept,
Singing all the while
The song of soul-mate
Dear bird, dictate a Word –
Most flawless and un-heard
Of high repute and resolute,
That echoes every sentiment
Of self-effacing love,
In soaring spirit,
And in liquid diction,
Ever vibrant to delight
– The ending line of my maiden Sonnet!

A Deep Rooted Invocation short poem

I am a helpless abject soul, Poisoned by my own karma. I kneel down at God’s threshold Fully aware God will surely hold. God, I have nothing to offer you, Except my being an aficionado. Knowing of your popular benedictions
