A Fleeting Love

A Fleeting Love short poem

Uploaded by Savio Fernandes

Few years since I’ve known you,
Never a chance to meet or hang
Last night was unplanned but amazing
I wonder why did it take so long

We hesitated, but we were sure
This is what we both wanted
But courage was not ashore
It took a while for us to take that chance
Now I can’t have enough of your second glance

Although it seemed like a fair weather encounter
I wish it could last forever
But who am I to control the winds of change
You are as tall & high, and you soar on Eagles wings

I can only wish the best for you
And hope someday you find that joy,
That love and happiness you long for
Will surprise you when least expected

So fly high but stay grounded
Give more and expect less
Cause Ur life is just beginning
And love will find new meaning

Fail In Love

Fail In Love short poem

She was a traveling soul. The galaxy resting above her nose. I’d sit & stare. Wondering where the stars would go next. Both young & in love I let go. Tracing together swirls of color. The planets all together aligned.

Please take my hand, for I am blind. I’ve lost my path and my sense of touch. I’ve fallen, for my hands and feet are behind. Please let me hear, for all is in a hush. My wrist and ankles
