Not Made For Each Other

After all the arguments and a little fight
I had to give in and register on a matrimonial site

Uploading the pics and bio data was such a pain
I always knew it would go in vain

Setting up the profile was quite challenging
For it left my hands and neck paining

And there I was an addition on the site
For those looking for a perfect bride

Everyday new chats and interests
Seriously not even one could impress

All this was becoming irritating
When an attractive profile, I saw waiting

Everything seemed nice and perfect
But he didn’t turn out to be my MR.Perfect

Our horoscope had failed to match
However he was a good catch

Next few days were peaceful and serene
When a new interest flashed on the screen

His name could not keep my attention
So I brushed through profiles to find some connection

Next morning FB gave a notification
It was the name that could not keep my attention

The guy had sent me a friend request, reluctant though
I welcome this guest

Gradually we got to know each other
So we decided to take a step further

In the next step our parents talked
Everything was smooth like a moon walk

With all the future plans set
Everything seemed so damn perfect

Hey!! screamed the horoscope,”Check on me first before you build hopes”
The villain once again was the horoscope
The astrologer said,”They have no scope.”

Everything came down like a pack of cards
Coping up with this was quite hard

Though we weren’t made for each other
We hope to remain friends forever
