Throw Another Log On The Fire

Throw Another Log On The Fire short poem

Throw Another Log On The Fire short poemPhoto by digitalshay

The chill is in air
The ground covered in snow
And no where to go

Cuddled up with my friend
All warm and cozy at the cottage Send

The flames licking the side walls of the fireplace
Sending a warm radiant heat to warm our face

The crackle and sparks the fire makes
Adds an extra heart beat
and so we take another peek
And see the matching sparkle in our eyes
as in the crackle in the fire and it’s no lie

So throw another log on to the fire hog
And make those
Sparks and crackle and wiggle our toes
to calm our soles
