Everything good and bad lies in your eyes,
Just as the stars shine in the night sky.
Freedom comes at a cost, hope is free,
Love is what you crave, happiness is the key.
Beauty fades away, no matter how much you pay or pray,
Nobody lives forever, everyone will soon decay.
Now do you see what I mean?
Don’t just read the words, read in between.
They say “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder”,
But not all beauty is visible; you realize that as you grow older.
And just because someone looks beautiful, doesn’t mean they are,
True beauty is on the inside, just like a car.
But to get the good, you must also accept the bad,
Just like to be happy, sometimes you have to be sad.
You’re personality and who you are will shine through,
Everyone can see the good and the bad no matter what you do.
Now you see how everything good or bad lies in your eyes,
By looking in your eyes, one can see past all your lies.
You have one life, one life to live,
Do you choose to take from others or to give?
Because you only have one chance to do this right,
When time is up its up, no matter how hard you fight.
You could have months, seconds, minutes, hours, or years before you die.
So live for right now, and do whatever, because there’s no second chance and no re try.
But if you think the impossible, the incredible will come true,
If you stay positive, good people will be drawn to you.
The sun will rise, and once again we will try,
At first we may fall, but one day we will fly.
Once we’re on our final journey to the sky,
Don’t be looking back at memories asking why.
