Thy Eternal Grace

Thy Eternal Grace prose poem

Petals are unfolding
Soft crisp leaves are emerging
Wonder is their lustrous green aura
Milder is the mellow wind’s persona

The wind is whispering love longs
Into the ears of the emerging beauty
The earth is holding on her roots
Cause to care like a mother is her duty

Love is blossming one of a kind
The flower wanted to travel along the wind leaving everything behind
But the sun like a guardian
kept a vigil so stern
Mother nature made her learn
“Oh flower ,in your eternal grace
You will be borne of wind …
And at death will be carried in dust by the wind
but thy shall never meet ”

As the flower grew in her beauty and grace
Love in her heart she began to trace
The wind brought news one day
That a new life will be born in May
Days went by in glee
Then it finally came when she would sacrifice for her child
For the sweetest fruit of her kind

It rained that day ..
Flower never saw her ,lover so mild
Never did she see wind was so blind
She saw him making love with thunder and frost
It was her life which was at cost
Never they knew that love that started with a whisper in the ear
Would leave them in tears

She broke down from the boughs
Wind caught her in his arms
She smiled as she recalled the words
” Oh flower ,in your eternal grace
You will be borne of wind …
And at death will be carried in dust by the wind but thy shall never meet
