People short poem

People short poemPhoto by Pepe Pont

You meet many people not all of them stay,
Some forever, others a day,
God will send them for as long as you need,
To help you bloom by planting a seed.

Each person brings with it a lesson to learn,
Sometimes they teach us how to discern,
Learning can hurt when we don’t understand,
Further ahead we realise we can.

Some come with a smile when you need it most,
A reminder of who in your life to pull close,
Admitting that sometimes we need to let go,
Trust there are answers even when you don’t know.

We learn how to earn our trust and respect,
From reacting in life when we feel rejected,
Don’t sink to a level you want to destruct,
Take a step back and more pain you’ll deduct.

Some come in love though others in fear,
Each at a cost the price can be dear,
Some are priceless and these are the ones,
To never let go of no matter what comes

Little People

Little People prose poem

The pettiness of people is pervasive. Those who feel better when others fail. Feeling contempt and envy when others succeed. Reflecting ugliness behind their backs. Makes them feel better , superior somehow. People sniping at those after leaving the room.
