Lilith prose poem

Lilith prose poemPhoto by Prairiekittin

I am a Lilith
in whom men had no faith
I was as free as humming bee
I was never owned by anybody
this everybody disapproved
hence was made a demon
as the world knows me as an omen
hundred of my children were slaughtered
insulted and disfigured
some claim that I was Adam’s first wife
who never wanted to be under his control
I was hence made uglier than troll
I am stated as the mother of all demons
also the one who tricked Eve as
a snake to have the fruit from the garden of Eden
an transform men from their innocence
then leave the garden with a curse
this is my story which no one knows
I am a free spirit with no woes
