My aura shining around me enlightened by what’s inside me
A diamond who needed polished got it, my eyes unblinded
Thoughts and acts realignment dark nights I was found in
Cages I was confined in but wisdom help me survive them

Close my eyes and start dreaming then seeing I’m a believer
I had to follow to lead them still a student and teacher
Practicing what I’m preaching I love hard is my weakness
Control and balance is strength and that’s all that I’m seeking

I ain’t here for no reason I sweated, cried, and bled
Searching out for a meaning steady fighting my demons
Grew up labeled a heathen rejecting things they believe in
Screaming for serenity then death, I felt defeated

Risen up like the Phoenix I’m soaring just like an eagle
Don’t doubt me, now that I’m awake I’m telling you that I’m lethal
Instead of killing I’m healing but fools will never peep you
The outcome ain’t my concern, my mission is trying to reach you!

He was vanquished All the same, Died, like the birds in Philadelphia Dead is the watchword; Death was the unholy friend Longing for some quiet But there’s a noise inside my head And the noise is uninviting The walls are
