Incomplete

Incomplete long poem

You can’t get smoke without a fire
You can’t ride a bicycle without its back tyre
All these things show
That everything exists in pairs – this you should know

You can’t call it a day if there is no night
You can’t have a pair of shoes without the left shoe and the right
You can’t call a building complete if its missing one side
It is incomplete – and from this fact you cannot hide

You cannot have fun with friends if you’re always alone
You cannot be made famous if you are unknown
You cannot expect tears to go away if you do not look for someone to help you smile
And you don’t expect your troubles to disappear without taking a break and having fun with a friend for a while

Everything in life exists as a pair
As we see tiny atoms pairing to make molecules which make up air
One plus one will give you two
This union of numbers must be an example to you

We see people getting divorces
In an effort to get free – but they don’t
And couples going through hard times abandoning marriage courses
And will they get peace by doing so? No, they won’t

All of us try to succeed with the impossible feat
To try and defy that alone, we are incomplete

The Incomplete Woman long poem

Sitting on the bed your legs stretched, on your shoulder so lovingly you kept my head, holding my face with your palms you kissed me on my forehead, embracing me in your arms you kissed me on both my eyes,
