Catcher Freeman

Catcher Freeman short poem

Uploaded by Maxwell Shaw

Listen before I start the story
I can’t be more heavenly than the heavens
Or more angled than an angel
I know I am just as vulnerable
Than a vegetable more beastly
Then a savage who couldn’t manage the damage
My lifestyle is beyond wild
I thank the Lord for this very smile
That could stretch a mile
Crazy but funny because I am beginning to find joy in much
Areas of negatives that have been placed in peaceful
I am a product of what they said would never be
Silence occurs when I see the black wolf
Arise from the dirt yet again
Why bark when my focus in this world is to bite
I win as the sheep began to shake and bend
Listen not to what you heard but concentrate
On what you are hearing
And all will become clear
Because I begin to become the doubt they feel
When a curse that became a gift within a blessing
Comes near
Now awaken and open your eyes
To see what lies
A slave that became the master
And broke the ties.
