Unconditional Love, A Leaf From A Leaf

Unconditional Love, A Leaf From A Leaf short poem

Standing alone staring at the flowing stream
Saw those many floating with a swing and a beam

And then came this slender tender one
Dancing in the jocund company of another one

For a while I thought it stopped at the rock on its way
Turning around, as if to ask ‘how well I am in my sway’

It stood still in that glance beyond a trifle and longer
I sensed it was stuck and could not dance any longer

I gently let my fingers on her rare, bending low
To lift her off the rock and set her free to flow

Back again she continued with her gorgeous dance
Swirling and curving her way leaving me in a trance

Did it leave me or did I let it go?
May be “unconditional love”, I take a bow

Fail In Love

Fail In Love short poem

She was a traveling soul. The galaxy resting above her nose. I’d sit & stare. Wondering where the stars would go next. Both young & in love I let go. Tracing together swirls of color. The planets all together aligned.

Please take my hand, for I am blind. I’ve lost my path and my sense of touch. I’ve fallen, for my hands and feet are behind. Please let me hear, for all is in a hush. My wrist and ankles
