Losing Love

Losing Love short poem

Uploaded by Ramapriya Nr

If time was faithful to me

You would never have neglected me

Like others I too would have been dear to you

I have already suffered enough of grief

and by your disloyalty I am now a wreck

I would not have lost this battle ,

which I had almost won , but for your back stabbing

I was thirsty enough to win your love

but failed miserably as I dare not

express my Love in open

It was like the bottle of jam lying in front of me

but unable to even lift and hold it , let alone taste it

I regret for showing restraint in not seeking your hand

for marriage in front of those present in the gathering

My heartbeat is sinking but still I am alive

I am ashamed of my existence for not being able to win your heart

Probably I would have died , if I had not had the support of

those lovely moments that I spent with you
