The Glow-worm

The glow-worm gazed at night which was dark,
It felt more and more happy with its light of spark,
She was a soft beetle, but the flame of lantern did not like her-
Within the polished glass, it asked,”What are you doing here?”
“Something is locked in the surrounding which is dark
and with my glow, I want to leave my mark.”
“With the little light emitting from your small shell,
you have accomplished nothing, so go to hell.”
The glow-worm turned to the back seat and hid behind a flower,
Suddenly moon appeared in the sky like an universal mother,
“What’s the problem?” Moon asked with a round rising head,
“The glow-worm is too little to glow-
So, I asked her to go,
She was an odd pair with me-
I am little heavy and smart, can not you see?”
The flame of lantern proudly sounded.
“Oh, come on, storm and wind can turn off you,
I may lose my appearance by cloud too,
Sun appears and I disappear from everybody’s view.
There is no inferior and superior-
in the eye of nature.”
The glow-worm heard the voice of moon,
She jumped in joy and started to glow soon.

The Ballad Of The Naughty Glowworm ballad

There once was a glowworm Who’s tail would glow quite bright You could always see him dancing On a warm summer night When he wasn’t dancing And needed to rest He’d turn off his taillight With a switch under his
