Under The Same Stars

Under The Same Stars short poem

As I say goodnight, I remember before I sleep,
Those good times we spent, so intense and so deep,
Brings pain to know that it’s all over now,
There’s no us anymore and I ask myself how,
You changed the lock on the door, and left me locked out,
Made me bang on the door, but you didn’t open it, even after my shout,
Oh lord this pain pinches so deep within where it ain’t supposed to,
But you’ve moved on I guess, or maybe I was someone you weren’t into,
Whatever it was, it made me live and still inspires me to write about the scars,
Oh girl, I’m lucky enough, to have met you, and today, we sleep under the same stars.

Hearts Are Stars ballad

Hearts are stars lost in a tango- between the moon and the sun. Stuck between parallel worlds- they only shine to a smiling moon only to die for a burning sun. Love is an eclipse of a sparkling moon standing
