Broken Heart

I’ll give you my heart, my soul, my thoughts, my words, my love,
I’ll give you me,

I’ll give you all this so you will know I love you more then life can ever be.

But if I do, then you will control how many times my heart beats and
that will give you the power to break my heart and that wouldn’t be sweet

You will be everything I dreamed of, and then you will be just like the rest and leave without realizing that I was the best.

Should I give you my heart?

This is what I believe

Sometimes our words are better left unsaid.

Our Thoughts are made to keep inside our heads

Our hearts are meant to stay inside our chest

Our souls it’s not to be taken or given away,

Our love, it should be kept safe
where no one can break it.

I’ve been down this path once to many times, that’s why I’m so scared because it doesn’t last sometimes
