Comradeship short poem

A chaotic moments we did face,
Filled with tension and bubbling of heads;
Here the shouting came,
There the things flew.
Any day was emergency,
Any day was important.
Lamps did burn all night through,
No food we did touch.
A night journey in a vehicle that can fly,
With the stars for company
And even facing the storm.
But so much of learning did we get,
So much of giving did we made.
Compassion was in us,
That heard the call from the poor.
Patience was our tool,
To survive the journey
That took all our emotion.
Dedication was the gift that was born
From within us all,
A family was what we had,
Bonded by the love that we had for humanity.
Though with time we had to part,
The lasting friendship did we gain.
With memories that can last forever,
Where the hearts will always smile,
With just a memory
From the days we had together.
