Silence Is Golden

Silence Is Golden short poem

I keep my silence but please don’t assume,
That I don’t have much to say,
I have have more than enough, I don’t let it consume,
Each minute of my waking day.

I see so much more than you think I do,
I choose to justturn away,
The truth is I have a birds eye view,
There’s so much that I do not say.

I truly think there’s a lot to be said,
For the power no that words can say,
Sometimes I like to be quiet instead,
In silence the message convey.

The words so often race through my mind,
So often I don’t let them out,
If you pause to read between the lines,
You’ll see why there’s no need to shout.

The next time you think that you cannot hear,
My voice, don’t think that I hide,
There’s lots I could say for I do not fear,
I just know when to keep it inside.

Silence is golden, but if the gold in the silence is broken we have to climb the rooftop to shout our voices hoarse

It’s here, and then it’s not. That untimely moment that we fear our minds have just ‘forgot’ who we are, and why we’re here. Why did we never reach that bar? We’re no longer our own puppateer. In the past

Silence Ain’t Always Golden

Silence Aint Always Golden short poem

I chose silence not because I didn’t have an opinion. I chose silence not because I didn’t have thoughts. I chose silence not because I couldn’t express my feelings. I chose it… because that’s the only option I had! I

As I Sit In Silence

As I Sit In Silence short poem

As I sit, in silence, With just my soul, I can see the present, More so, than ever before I feel as if I was just born, Unto the mother’s breast All fresh and new, Wrapped in pink, The unconscious

Yes, your name was sliced off from the impasse. I will stand with you to track the continental drift. How little I knew about you and the prosthetic words. Again and again I return to ruins, and the dust and
