Liberated Woman

Liberated Woman long poem

Uploaded by Ramapriya Nr

The Thorn that was struck in my foot is now removed

I am now fit to dance to my very own tunes

Henceforth none can stop me from dancing

as I AM now like a bird flying free and henceforth

I would do and act what my heart says

In this moment of ecstasy I would like to Live life full

But those lost moments of Agony makes me wish I die

Now I feel restless and my mind is not under control

Mind aspires something else and I wish the other way round

I don’t know why my heart is regretting for the lost moments

when at this moment I am not feeling that I have lost anything at all

In this moment of Ecstasy and jubilation

I am feeling dancing like speed of an hurricane

jumping like waves deep in the ocean

This is a new life and I fear with the happiness

flowing to the brim and me going in a new path

I may get lost in my newly found Life’s journey

Coming out from darkness of life, initially

I see only a murkier image of things around

and as I open my Eyes gradually I can see

the whole world filled with colourful flowers

greeting me and hugging me all the way
