Broken Heart

Broken Heart long poem

Uploaded by Ramapriya Nr

When that tall and beauty smiled at me
When her sparkling eyes pierced through
When her hand shook mine
When she confessed her Love to me

I was an inch away touching the heavens in Ecstasy

We were the couple made for each other
by heart and soul to the joy of many
and to the envy of so many

The rosy life suddenly turned thorny
fate played its dirtiest part to snatch her away
No trace of Light could I see
only the darkness encircled me

Life for me had lost its meaning

When I have no Will to Live
What is the use of me living ?

I had lit the flame of love
in my heart and had it decorated
with flowers of expectations and togetherness
but the unscrupulous fate has snatched it all away

I was unaware the road
I tread was so rugged and difficult .
Tears of joy I carried got
dried up in the perched
heart of my lost Love

Who ever thought was my
well wishers has all deserted me
and even the almighty turned his face away
for me to suffer the anonymity of her separation
