Farewell short poem

Uploaded by jackson_daigle

Everyday my past comes back to haunt me
Making me relive what I couldn’t give up, an unpayable fee
Friends, family
Love, but not me
So quick to steal their breath
And fill my world with death
With no chance to say goodbye
You left me to die
My days turned dark, nights turned cold
Unrelenting fears, untold
All my stars went out, I’m left all alone
Stuck in this world, falling into the unknown
My mind’s gone haywire
Fed to the fire
I can only take so much pain
Until it drives me insane
I can bend, but sooner or later I will break
His fangs will sink into me, the devil’s a snake
He’ll drag me down to Hell
Maybe I’m already there, maybe I just fell
So far, that there’s no chance of return
Only choice, to burn, burn BURN!
Sooner or later we all gotta die, time to hang up the coat
Today is the day I drown instead of float
In my own blood
Unleashed in a flood
Best friend with a knife
Say goodbye to this life
Gun to my head
It’s time to sleep…it’s time to go to bed

This poem is so full of hopelessness. Almost a suicide note. Written from the heart, I guess.
This line stood out – ‘All my stars went out, I’m left all alone’.

Farewell prose poem

Farewell short poem

They will not allow the assisted suicide. The beetles; fiery and drunk. After the betrayal of arithmetic, the spiral staircase. Fireflies set foot on the skies to measure the darkness. The fire between us, of burning fat, of thousand years,
