Caterpillar short poem

On a bright spring morning
When water droplets sprinkled garden
Is shining with sprouting leaves and fruits
I crawl amidst the serene beauty feeding on
Anything that tastes fresh on my mouth
‘Coz I am just a baby, but you see me a pest
I am not gorgeous now, but soon you will change
Your opinion forever and call me a wonder.
Slowly I move, but I must eat like a lot
For a growth from this crawling life
I am a mere Caterpillar in the nature’s cradle
When the cycle of larvae ends I am a Butterfly
Or a Moth and I decorate your garden with colors
Imagination isn’t enough to fill the blanks on my wings
When I fly I will let the rainbow shy
Just wait for my time to come out
And flap my wings like your heart beat
And show the different sides of nature
In the same silky Caterpillar.
Stripes on my back like tiger in the yard.
Nature has nothing ugly to be defined
Only fairly refined, waiting for its turn.
On a bright spring morning
I will show up as a caterpillar until my wings flap.
Love me anyway until one day you find
The sleeping beauty in me as a Butterfly.
