Soul Stuck Human

Soul Stuck Human short poem

I stand by the corners
In the dark alleys
By the stone walls
By the dead-ends

I stand by the corners
By the walls of the homes
One that is darker
Than usual

I scare you, plot your murder
To feel your blood in my hands
Drink it to satiate my thirst
One by one all your blood bonded

That is how you imagine me
See me in your world of fantasy
Reinforced by the visuals
Of movies and stories

Hear my story for once
I’m stuck here
In the world in between
Neither a human nor a soul

Stuck in the transition
Unaware of my death
Untimely by will or force
Aware of the folly of my death

I run around
From pillar to post
To find the one
Who will bring me my release

I went to my brother
My husband, children
To dig a path for liberation
Help me transition to the soul-dom

I begged, I yelled,
I cursed, I choked them
They did not hear nor feel
I felt helpless

I came in their dreams
Sent a message
Scared them in the pants
But none helped

Stuck in transition
In the dark alleys
By the stone walls
In the darker corners

Hanging between like Trisanku is really painful just because it is neither permitted to come down and perhaps has exhausted energy to go up………Idea is well represented. Congrats Bhargavi…..
