Cheers

Cheers long poem

Uploaded by Ramapriya Nr

Happy happy happy happy new year
Welcome to the New year
Goodbye to the present year
The first Cheers of the new year
is dedicated to you my dear

The faces looks unfamiliar
who is who none do know
what is in one’s mind difficult to fathom
People are trying to communicate through
gestures rather than through talks

Look at the old man’s plight
wonder at his leg shake at this ripe age
Every body is high
some are new and some old friends
group of amateurs conglomerated at one place
and try to dine and dance earning a bad name

so what was it I was narrating to you my Boy ??
The imaginary incident in a new year’s party sir ;
No No It is not imaginary my boy it is the reality
The rest of the year we lead life of imaginary
but on this New year day we tend to be really happy my Boy

Thanks to you and cheers sir,
I am sure you don’t mind sir
I do mind ,if you don’t say Cheers my boy

PS : Be happy and Merry if not the whole year at least Tonight

Cheers For The Rain

Cheers For The Rain short poem

Hooray! Cheers for the falling rain Lifting a veil of haze, even the sight of a distant train A parade of colorful umbrellas bobbing, like music in refrain Their owners gingerly navigating the puddles of rain A cooling mist on

Cheers – To Life… And Death

Cheers To Life... And Death short poem

heartbeat time flows swiftly by- distilling within that certain pain inherent in understanding a depth of grief is felt upon a fellow voyager’s departure- somehow balanced by its magnetic partner- joy sorrow slips in and out as we move through-
