Strike Out.

Strike Out. long poem

After so much struggle
Throughout the year ,
After achieving success
That you had feared,
It’s time to cherish.

To be thankful for the good
Experiences you had,
To be grateful for the worst experiences from which you learned ,
There is nothing to feel sorry for,
No shame or embarrassment
Instead be thankful for all
The values you earned.

Remember the people who made you smile ,
Forgive the ones who forgot you for a while ,
Be with them whom you adore ,
Spend time with the ones who are close to your heart’s core.

This year make more people laugh,
Take out some more time to absorb the beauty of nature,
To see beyond what is already carved,
Make some new friends,
Go on road trips , admire the view,
Because in the end, whichever way you choose,
are  the trends.

Amidst the noise,
Pledge to be calm
Amidst the flow,
Don’t lose your path
Go beyond the boundaries,
Think out of the box
Because it’s now or never.
Again a year is gone,
Again the months passed,
And you haven’t gone a step forward?
This feeling shouldn’t last.
