Cerebral Sacrifice

Cerebral Sacrifice short poem

Maggot-like thoughts burrow, creating Casu Marzu from curds.
Turning reason into food for doubts, which suckle and multiply.
Impurity concealed in greyness of cells, nourished by lack of words,
Spawns malicious self-possession, no exorcist could sanctify.

Spiralling desperation deepens the depravity,
Clinging to a putrefying mind, like leeches to a vein.
Twins of torment and torture eroding grains of sanity,
Delight in the destruction and surrender of my brain.
