Lucky Tuesday

Lucky Tuesday short poem

Uploaded by riya shah

Same rise, Regular routine
Boring set, Ending with gym
That’s what I imagined for today
I never knew this typical day would turn a Lucky Tuesday!

Still wondering why did you come up and said “Hi”?
Just then you stole my heart which was once mine
That’s what I never imagined for today
This typical day turned a Lucky Tuesday!

You questioned “How did you find me on facebook?”
All I wanted to say was “For you I could do any move”
“He he” I replied in my own way
That typical day turned a Lucky Tuesday!

When I was busy setting up your and my dream
You chose a colleague’s finger for your ring
I stood there clueless and agape
Thinking was our friendship also fake?

After then a new voice came up and said “Hi”
Will that also become a never-said bye?
