Knock On My Door

Knock On My Door long poem

I stared at the stars and wondered
When will they knock on my door!
And a stardust sprinkled cake will be served
On my dinner table as a dessert
And gardens of hope will bloom.
Moon will say to the night
“Let’s smear the color of white
and let someone fall in love”
Night has lost its glory
To the shiny stars spread like on a bread
And Orion is the head.
Fireflies follow the glow
In the backdrop of the story
And an epic battle follows
In between night and light.
Moon reflects the face of love
But stars follow the path
In the night that lets them bright.
Lost are those who belong to the
Darkness in their heart
Loneliness will eat them fast
And reflections will be scarier
So I stared at the stars and wondered
When will they knock on my door!
For I want them to guide me to my love
Who hides behind the Moon!
Light me up and ignite my sight
Let me see what lies beneath
Free me from the clutches of oblivion
For I wish to unite with my other side
And see the other side of moon
And reassure my touch of its emptiness
So I stared at the stars and wondered
When will they knock on my door!
