Illusions

Illusions short poem

Illusions… are so beautiful… aren’t they?
so tempting…
so alluring…
so full of promises of happiness…

Illusions built of illusions …
that pull you so deep within…

that at one point the self becomes an
Illusion… thoughts become dreams …

We become one among the rest… Yes…

Knowing the reality and accepting it is hard…
Feeling the illusion and living it is ecstasy ..

It is each man’s personal choice…

It is your personal choice…
yours and yours only…

Illusions of illusions. Maybe, what the mortal beings are dreaming. Would souls also dream? That would be illusions of reality. You take, @zyborg, the readers into the realms of Philosophy. You picked at reality as something not conducive to ecstasy. That is your personal choice. Many a learned mind will delight at your play of words.
