Photo by Light Through My Lense
To the light you are not awake
And to the night you do not belong
Come Oh’ my Love, let’s walk in twilight,
And find a place that hides our heart,
Away from the rumble of the world
And chaos of the universe,
And let’s swim across the ocean
Of propinquity like a dolphin.
Let’s fly free over the clouds
Far away from the crowd like an albatross.
Let’s go out of sight and be tangled
In love and flutter like humming birds.
Let’s witness the mountains meet the clouds
And haze glisten the air with brilliance
Like your eyes when light falls on them.
Let’s drink from the creek and fill our ears
With nature’s own composed rhythm.
And let’s walk on the sandy beaches
Until we stumble on few oysters
And some with hidden surprise in it.
Let’s go to the poles and watch
The northern lights and liberate our souls.
Let’s go near a volcano and find anger
The Fire in love that may erupt any day.
Let’s wander in the desolate deserts
Until thirst tests our tranquil Love
And find strength in our bond.
Let’s vanish into the air like the wind
And blow anywhere it takes
Until we enter a home with open windows
And warm welcome to the spring.
Let’s find a blanket and cuddle up
Until nature is white and black
And colors remain an imagination.
Let’s get drunk until we forget
To mind the surrounding and Aphrodite
Blesses our love with intimacy,
And when there is a morning
We only remember the best
Of life’s gift and rest dwell
With the night’s gown on
A statue of cupid that struck
At twilight where we belonged
Holding each other in arms
And no one else except us
Remain in our beloved solitude…….
