Crazy Freedom

I am a tenacious spirit with wild hair
I look crazy at times which is why you all stare
I don’t care, stare if you want
I don’t mind your teases and taunts

I am unique and embrace who I am
I do not live my life as a sham
I welcome the challenge of a life that’s authentic
I know that I may seem to you so eccentric

When I awake in the early morn
I take in every sound and form
I don’t want to miss out on a thing
I can’t hold a note but still I sing

Uplift your voice, get out of your zone
be true to yourself-you may walk alone
miserable is the person all put together
just floating through this world like a feather

Hit the ground running every day of the week
don’t be afraid to sometimes shout when you speak
you may seem insane to those all around
but atleast you will have lived freely out loud
