March Towards Victory

March Towards Victory prose poem

Sitting back and gazing at the contingencies,
That had their existence owing to a lack of effort,
A lack of attitude, a lack of passion,
The picture seemed so dark then, so dull,
When people had given up all hopes,
When the path seemed so untrodden and uphill,
And the system pathetic as it could be,
Then came together a group of people,
With some differences, some similarities,
With a common goal, to make things happen,
To change the on goings at every cost,
Eager to work under heavy load of expectations,
With time constraints that were invincible,
And clouds of conspiracies covering them,
Despite setbacks and tonnes of obstacles,
They are still rock solid and going strong,
Marching on towards their objective,
That is the best possible end,
For each of their fellow men,
They haven’t seen day or night,
To make their dream come true,
However unconducive the markets seem,
They have given up their time and peace,
As the end nears, it is yet so far,
There are still lot of questions unanswered,
And many more doubts uncleared,
Many more obstacles yet to be broken,
And mountains to be climbed,
However, the team will sweat it out,
With their best possible strength,
Faith, hope and confidence,
Neither sickness, nor pain,
Is going to halt them,
And I just pray, they end up,
Making the dark beginning,
A much more brighter end.

The Guy In Gray Last March short poem

You drive me to the same place. You steer so swift and safe. You reached my waist behind your car, In a land seems near, Yet, so far. Your face was so close to mine, And I thought it was

And then March arrives. Summer again. The neem trees smile, They have to flower, Only they can defeat the sun, And remind us, Once again, ‘I bear this for the earth to cool somewhere’ While others dry, droop and fall,

The Long March – November 2013 New People

The Long March November 2013 New People ode

This is an ode to the press. I write a lot of these leading up to publications I care about. This one was unique, I sketched on some boxes, used some spray paint and some sharpies. In the space above

Victory Of Fall

Victory Of Fall short poem

One unthinkably hostile debate started in a colosseum: a path to kill the clemency. A comatose truth was listening to lies. They were pointingly arguing about the nukes option to bring about the peace and prosperity on the strife torn

March 18th, 2016

March 18th, 2016 short poem

The day I’ve looked to for years is now my dreaded bitter end. Melancholy incarnate, I feel nothing, much to my chagrin. My mind a wall, nostalgia the flood. Bursting through upon the hour. Bittersweet memories of you. The wall
