Rampant Impala

Rampant Impala short poem

Heartbroken men build beautiful fires
Alcoholics are not the only liars
Reach out before time expires
Fulfil all your heart’s desires

Stale old beer is better than no beer
Let go of fear
Can’t remember the last time I shed
A tear
Searching the bottom of a cup
How’d we manage to mess this up?

Cigarette smoke is almost poetic
Dancing in the light
Alone on a Friday night
Heartbroken mean are always pathetic
