Silence

Silence short poem

So much I keep inside for fear you won’t believe,
That thought is terrifying on its own,
I’m scared you would think that I’d set out to deceive,
So I’ll walk this winding path all alone.

Sometimes I’m confused and I cannot understand,
So many thoughts race around my head,
Thoughts of expectations that you might demand,
Such fear that I will disappoint instead.

You look at me with eyes that speak a million words,
They have a language of their very own,
You look at me as if I’m really quite absurd,
Through not one single word I hear the tone.

I know you’re the “expert” but I’m an expert too,
After all the “subject” now is me,
If you do not mind, if it’s okay with you,
I’d like a chat with myself to see.

It seems no amount of chatter or how much I confer,
Will change the conclusion you have found,
If you’d consider NOT using my notes to refer,
You’d see my silence really is profound.

It’s here, and then it’s not. That untimely moment that we fear our minds have just ‘forgot’ who we are, and why we’re here. Why did we never reach that bar? We’re no longer our own puppateer. In the past

Silence Ain’t Always Golden

Silence Aint Always Golden short poem

I chose silence not because I didn’t have an opinion. I chose silence not because I didn’t have thoughts. I chose silence not because I couldn’t express my feelings. I chose it… because that’s the only option I had! I

As I Sit In Silence

As I Sit In Silence short poem

As I sit, in silence, With just my soul, I can see the present, More so, than ever before I feel as if I was just born, Unto the mother’s breast All fresh and new, Wrapped in pink, The unconscious

Wordless Silence

Wordless Silence short poem

Yes, your name was sliced off from the impasse. I will stand with you to track the continental drift. How little I knew about you and the prosthetic words. Again and again I return to ruins, and the dust and
