Blue Bird

Blue Bird short poem

A bird of blue
Perched on my branch
Day after day, chirping
Filled my leaves with Euphony

I feel a tree with winsome bloom
Her hail, the song I long for
She brings the breeze for my leaves
Ne’er a time she flew by without a song

Swirling above, the dark clouds
The cloudburst, swallowing the gaiety
The blue bird ceased her flight
And her song fades in the rain

Howbeit like nights, every rain belays
And the woe of my leaves obviated
The cerulean songbird takes flight once again
To hail the longing tree
