His Life, an Empty File

His Life, an Empty File short poem

Uploaded by Ramapriya Nr

His Life’s journey was devoid of any story
Empty pages were his Life’s File
The few worthy incidence in his life
too got erased in the floods of his tears

A Breezy wind knocked away his short rosy married life
Little bit of fragrance left over between the couple too
got washed away in the whirl wind of misunderstanding
Both were right but together every thing went wrong

A flying bird has no home so also was his shattered life
He could not decide as to how his life journey has to roll
His desire of leading rest of his life with his wife remained a dream

He could sense the flame of happiness even
while drowning himself in the river of sorrow

He could realise the value of happiness only
when he suffered the trauma of separation

He at last learnt to accept the fact that
his happiness rests in accepting the reality

He could not fill even a single page of his
Life’s file, as he died as an author of empty file
