Dave short poem

Will you celebrate in heaven?
Have all your birthdays been and gone?
Are you 35 forever?
Acting like you’re twenty one!

Will Granny give you apples?
And Taid build you fort?
Will you have a pint with Gavin?
Dutch beer, your favourite sort.

I’ll celebrate your birthday
But in a very different way
I’ll sit beside your headstone
And your favourite music I will play.
I’ll cherish all the memories
Of all your birthdays been and gone
And miss you more than ever
You’ve been gone for far too long.

Will you celebrate in heaven?
I hope you do in your own way
Happy birthday dearest brother
Are the words I’d like to say.
