Lovers

Lovers short poem

Lovers are doomed
right from the start,
because they follow their hearts.
Just because…

They leave behind
the sanity of their minds.
The sheer magnitude of emotions.
The scary depth of feeling turns them blind.

Their hearts so full of love
strengthen their souls.
Yet, delicate, fragile
and careening out of control.

The soul is consumed,
a muddled thought process
When a lover lives out his love.
He is madly possessed.

happiness and sorrow
are the only two emotions.
A thin line between them,
no clear demarcation.

The earthly rules don’t hold.
When they are with each other.
Reason withholds
all caution is smothered.

Blinded by love? No.
They have a selective vision.
In their imaginary world of bliss
spring is the only season.

An ode to all the lovers
with hearts of pure gold.
May you live out your madness
with all your heart and your soul.

Beast And Lovers

A Lovers’ Embrace

A Lovers Embrace short poem

To feel her hand upon your face, her gentle caress like a tingling grace. The heat of her hands as they trace a path. Silken stockings on an exposed calf. To gaze into eyes so deep with desire, your heart

I saw him behind the stack of books Skinny build and ordinary looks Thick black frame around sleepy eyes Expression clammy and mighty wise She barged in and stood with a stare Scared me a moment, unaware A long blue
