Of words and meanings

Of words and meanings short poem

Of words and meanings
Of lives and then some
A word spoken.
A new life with no end.
A new piece of soul.

Ice, fire or water – coexisting anomalies.
Some words scar lives.
Some heal them.
Some words draw lines.
Some break them.

Some words are magnets.
Some are bayonets.
Words create an identity
As much as all other physical objects.

Life gives life.
Like words inspire words.
They evoke emotions/actions.
They are formless objects.
With an inherent power.
When properly put together
They form civilizations.
When joined by evil intent
They overshadow humanity.

Those Unsaid Words

Those Unsaid Words short poem

I learned to hold all my feelings inside until late at night. I covered my mouth with my hands so that no one could hear my tears. I perfected my fake smile. Today, after so many days, painfully enough, but
