Mosaic Memory

Mosaic Memory short poem

Uploaded by Scott D

Memories of pine strewn air
Of long ago
On those cold early mornings
Enrich the day with color
Confiding in childhood once again
Warms the heart in an insecure world
Tethered by arms of history
Entwined by a web of safe harbor
And resounding echoes of parent voice
Give hope despite the years they’ve been away
A wish, a dream, that will always come true
Day after day, year after year
This cherished memory
My mosaic memory.

Memory Walk short poem

Wanted to visit old lanes for a mocking bird. A luminous proxy wanted to play a game. Treachery flees from the trees and settles on the white wings of flying swans. No logarithm will stop to watch the invisible numbers

Mosaic short poem

Snippets of truth come to you, when you chase the anger and set yourself on fire. An intimate slap of a fall guy rages after the defiance. You are no longer bleeding gold. A windowless home for the defiled, waits
