Missed Opportunities

Missed Opportunities short poem

Sometimes in your life,
Time will go astray,
You can’t save those moments,
For another day.

Missed opportunities,
Times you should have had,
But we got the good times,
Mixed up with the bad.

Sometimes we take the wrong path,
Should have turned the other way,
It’s too late to say we’re sorry,
It happened yesterday.

Missed opportunities,
Of a life that moves so fast,
Look forward to the future,
Leave the past there in the past.

Lifes full of regrets,
Full of tragedies and pain,
Leave regrets back in the past,
Don’t stand there in the rain.

Missed opportunites,
Too many years have gone by,
Don’t keep sitting and wondering,
And asking yourself,why?

Look forward to the future,
New memories in your life,
Stop dwelling on that broken past,
Causing yourself strife.

Missed opportunities,
You’ve lost along the way,
Your future is the here and now,
Enjoy every single day,

The Angel that missed the last bus into town

The Angel that missed the last bus into town long poem

The angel had missed the last bus into town Her wings were all rain wet and she felt so down Until in a shop doorway a Saint sheltered there While he whistled a psalm and he sang the Lords Prayer,
