Victim Of Mankind

Victim Of Mankind short poem

Summer passed, winter arrived ,

Short steps turned into long strides ,

Insects prepare for hibernation,

Serenic beauty is nature’s projection ,

Mother puts her child to sleep,

South Africa just won cricket match with clean sweep ,

Bells ring announcing Festive onset ,

Drunkard ambiently remembers his past ,

Full moon illuminates the darkness of night ,

Leaves are fresh with dew,

Sun is on extent of completion of its axis rotation,

Politicians speak for public mandate ,

Urge to choose them as potential candidate ,

There’s pain and agony ,

Still a wish to experience all notions of life again ,

The wounds are still afresh,

Yet there’s hopeful wait.

Even if the lock was opened from its suitcase.
